SAF Investor New York 2025
September 23rd

Thanks to SAF Investor for convening the right voices. The energy is real and it is clear we are all working toward the same goal: building an industry that can scale sustainably, deliver economically and perform technically

Jimmy Samartzis, CEO, LanzaJet

Following the hugely successful SAF Investor London 2025, we are delighted to announce the launch of SAF Investor New York 2025.

SAF Investor New York will bring together over 200 attendees including producers, end users, banks and finance arrangers, technology providers, lawyers, venture capital and private equity, institutional investors and hedge funds, consultants, NGOs and academics, aircraft financiers and lessors airports and fuel providers, insurance brokers and underwriters as well as auditors and certification.

We will shortly be providing more information on the event. If you want to keep up to date with the event news, fill out the form below.

The widespread adoption of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is no longer an engineering challenge.

It is an economic one.

New technologies now need to prove they can scale up and meet the industry’s need for billions of dollars of capital that are required to have any chance of reaching 2050 targets.

Investors want certainty. They need to know that: future demand is strong; feedstock supply is stable; the economics of production work; and lawmakers will provide clear, stable regulation. SAF Investor New York 2025 will examine all of these issues.

The conference will bring together innovators and customers, financiers and regulators, suppliers and advisers.

SAF Investor New York 2025 is not about arguing the case for sustainable aviation fuel. It is about bringing the dealmakers together who can make change happen.

The one-day conference will have TED-style presentations, interactive panel discussions, Q&A, audience polling, and fireside chats – broken up with plenty of networking time over coffee breaks, lunches and cocktail receptions.

If you’re interested in speaking or promoting your company to our audience please email [email protected]

I recently attended the SAF Investor conference and it’s definitely one of the best SAF events I’ve experienced! The size of the conference is just right, allowing for meaningful and quality connections with fellow attendees. The topics covered in the talks were exceptionally well chosen, ensuring that the content was both relevant and engaging.

Gevo is commercializing the next generation of renewable gasoline, jet fuel, and diesel fuel with the potential to achieve zero carbon emissions, addressing the market need of reducing greenhouse gas emissions with sustainable alternatives.
LanzaJet was founded in 2020 to focus on the development of SAF via the commercialization of its leading, exclusive, and patented Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) technology. This followed 14+ years of successful technology development and scale up by LanzaTech and the US Department of Energy (DOE).

LanzaJet was formed through the contributions of its investors LanzaTech, Suncor, and Mitsui, along with support from All Nippon Airways and the DOE. LanzaJet continues to accelerate its growth through new partnerships and have since welcomed additional investment and support from British Airways, Shell, Microsoft, Breakthrough Energy, Southwest Airlines, Groupe ADP, MUFG, and Airbus.

In January 2024, LanzaJet opened the world’s first and only commercial ATJ plant – Freedom Pines Fuels – in Soperton, GA. Coming online this year, it will produce 9 million gallons of SAF and 1 million gallons of renewable diesel annually. LanzaJet is active in 25 countries and its technology is being deployed around the world.
