Malaysia’s Gamalux on track to complete renewable feedstock plant by Q2

Sustainable aviation fuel feedstock producer Gamalux is on track to complete work on the renewable feedstocks plant plant at south-western island of Pulau Indah in the second quarter of 2024.
In a statement, the company said that site will help its expansion strategy to scale domestic production.
“Spanning 3.23 hectares within the Pulau Indah Industrial Park, the plant will feature state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, eco-friendly processes and an integrated supply chain network,” the company said in a statement.
The plant will have a production capacity of around 90,000 tonnes of various feedstocks for renewable fuels including SAF.
“The new manufacturing plant at West Port, Port Klang, embodies out commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence. It is a cornerstone of out future expansion plans, enabling us to tap into new markets, create more job opportunities, and solidly our position as an industry leader,” said company’s CEO Usman Ahmed.
“We are investing in cutting-edge research and development and fostering strategic partnerships to drive shared growth, contribute to green energy solutions, and solidify our position as an industry leader.”
