With decades of experience in establishing global operations and driving energy sector transitions, Noaman now focuses on advancing the shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy. A recognised thought leader in aviation decarbonisation, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the UK’s SAF landscape from its early stages, providing strategic insights and industry leadership.

Noaman holds an MBA from Sheffield Business School and a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Jordan.

With over two decades of experience in clean tech, prior to joining Climate Investment in 2023, Cindi worked at TotalEnergies Ventures, the venture capital arm of TotalEnergies, where she led the Ventures team in San Francisco from 2021 and led the European Ventures team in Paris for the previous four years. Before joining TotalEnergies, Cindi was a Senior Director at SunPower (NASDAQ: SPWR) for a decade, was a founder and CEO of a vehicle electrification startup, and an investment banker at JPMorgan and Stephens. Patrick Edmond is Chief Marketing Officer at Future Energy Global, which is working to build a SAF ecosystem by aggregating demand for SAF and SAF credits from aircraft operators and corporates, securing offtakes from suppliers, and bringing external investment into the SAF space to accelerate production ramp-up. Patrick holds an MS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, an MSc in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University, and an MBA from Purdue University. Before joining Future Energy Global, Patrick led the commercial and strategy functions for a number of airlines and airports, founded the aviation strategy and sustainability consultancy Altair Advisory, and served as advisor to a number of startups in the fields of travel technology and electric aviation. He is based in Ireland.

Thomas Engelmann

Thomas Engelmann is Head of Energy Transition at KGAL Investment Management GmbH & Co. KG with investment experience of more than 27 years and invests in energy transition related projects/companies such as green hydrogen. Previously, he was Global Head of Transaction and Investment Management, Infrastructure Equity, at Allianz Global Investors GmbH.

Between 2008 and 2013, he already worked for KGAL as Senior Director in the Renewable Energies and Infrastructure department, helping to build up the Renewable Energies portfolio. Thomas Engelmann gained his in-depth industry experience through various global senior management positions at Siemens AG and Siemens Financial Services (SFS). Positions in corporate M&A, as commercial director of industrial power plants and as senior investment director show his significant know-how in technology-driven sustainable impact investments. He holds a Master in Business Administration and was a member of the Siemens Technical Graduate Program. He is also a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

David Fisken

Previously David was with the UK regional investment promotion agency for Birmingham and the West Midlands where, as Head of Inward Investment he led a team supporting UK and international companies to locate and expand in the Birmingham area. Within this he was also the sector lead for Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing. David has over 20 years’ experience of working in investment attraction and foreign direct investment and holds an M.A. (Hons) in Geography from the University of Glasgow.

Adam Forsyth is an equity analyst covering clean energy companies. A civil engineering graduate and chartered environmentalist, Adam worked for an environmental charity before completing an MBA in 1991. After building a utilities research team for Robert Fleming he became joint head of pan-European utilities research at JPMorgan Chase. In 2002, Adam left to co-manage activist manager, Platinum Fund Managers. Returning to the sell side in 2008 to focus on clean energy, Adam formed Longspur Research in 2019. He has topped the Starmine, Extel and Institutional Investor Awards. He has developed the Active Net Zero Index, has chaired the CFA UK Energy Finance Special Interest Group, the Climate Change Disclosure Working Reporting Group and is a member of the Scottish Transition Finance Initiative.

Marcella Franchi joined Haffner Energy in 2021, a French company with a 30-year-old proven expertise in biomass-to-energy technology, and over 40 plants delivered to date. Marcella was a key player in the success of Haffner Energy’s IPO in February 2022. She was appointed SVP North America in May 2023 as the company’s international ambitions expanded due to the urgency of finding viable solutions for the energy transition. Haffner Energy is entering the USA market with its patented technologies in line with the IRA and Clean Hydrogen Strategy and Roadmap guidance, focusing on SAF and renewable hydrogen production from sustainable biomass and organic waste. Marcella began her career in financial engineering at Warren & Selbert (now Accufy Inc) in London, where she stayed for 17 years. She became a successful entrepreneur, founding and running companies in real estate and rentals in the UK and Portugal. Marcella has a degree from the London School of Economics and a postgraduate qualification in Corporate Finance from the London Business School. She has lectured and consulted at university in Hong Kong and Lisbon. She is on the boards of the LBS Energy Club and Women in Green Hydrogen.

Marvin Tabi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of WESAF Energy and a leading advocate for sustainable fuels development in Africa.
