Arcadia’s Project ENDOR receives EU Innovation funding
Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer Arcadia eFuels said it has signed a grant agreement with the European Commission under the EU Innovation Fund for its ENDOR project.
The company was awarded the funding after a rigorous and competitive evaluation process. The grant provides capital and operating cost support for the project and is intended to strengthen the financial framework upon final investment decision.
“We are proud and humbled to have been selected under the EU Innovation Fund” said Martin Nielsen, country manager at Arcadia eFuels. “The selection process is rigorous and requires a high degree of detail across technical, financial, and operational aspects. This recognition reflects the work carried out together with our partners and the robustness of the ENDOR project.”
The fund supports projects that demonstrate a strong potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across Europe.
ENDOR was assessed against a broad portfolio of initiatives and selected based on its technical and financial maturity, the degree of innovation, the implementation approach, and expected contribution to decarbonisation in a hard-to-abate sector.
With the grant agreement in place, Arcadia eFuels says it will continue advancing the ENDOR project towards final investment decision in cooperation with partners and financial stakeholders, contributing to the development of scalable eFuel production in Europe.
