Avfuel and Neste extend partnership until 2027

Avfuel and Neste have extended their partnership until 2027. The agreement will secure access to Neste’s MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for corporate flight departments, FBOs and manufacturers.

The partnership will see Avfuel triple its offtake from Neste this year, in response to rapidly rising demand.

Keith Sawyer, manager of Alternative Fuels, Avfuel said:  “We are proud to not only continue our partnership with Neste, but also immensely grow its scope with greater product access. This agreement underscores our mutual commitment to reducing emissions and advancing the adoption of eco-friendly solutions in aviation.”

The agreement extension comes as Neste began supplying SAF from  its Los Angeles terminal  earlier this month. . This new terminal will improve  access to SAF  across California. Avfuel will draw SAF from both the northern and southern California terminals, expanding supply to new markets and states.

We are proud to extend our partnership with Avfuel and enable its customers to reduce the emissions from their air travel by using Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel,” said Alexander Kueper, vice president, Renewable Aviation at Neste. “Neste is fully committed to supporting the aviation industry in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by working closely together with partners like Avfuel, and we look forward to continuing to work together as we expand our SAF production and supply capabilities.”
