Renovare Fuels announces key hire to roll-out SAF projects

UK-based Renovare Fuels announced key hirings to lead its roll-out of sustainable fuel (including sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel) projects across the UK and Europe.
Michael Fishwick joins as director, while Deborah Delaney takes on the role of head of projects, with both executives bringing extensive experience in the renewable energy sector.
“I’m thrilled to join Renovare Fuels, having worked closely with the team for some years,” said Fishwick. “With the SAF market advancing rapidly and strong government support in place, this is a defining moment for us as we prepare for major roll-out—driven by our ambition to become the leading SAF producer across the UK and Europe.”
Michael has spent almost 30 years at board-level in the recycling and renewables sector, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, and new business development. He brings extensive leadership experience from a range of companies, including Bio Capital, Earnside Energy, and East London Biogas.
Deborah has over 20 years of experience in the renewables sector. She has previously acted as head of business development at TEG Environmental, and merger and acquisitions projects manager for Bio Capital.
“It’s an exciting time to be leading projects at Renovare Fuels as we move into a crucial phase of growth. I’m pleased to bring my experience in renewable energy project delivery to drive the success of our initiatives,” said Delaney.
Michael and Deborah join Renovare Fuels to forge the roll-out of its biofuel technology across a large pipeline of new projects.
Both Michael and Deborah will continue in their roles as Directors of UK biogas experts, Powerhouse Management Limited. The company is collaborating with Renovare Fuels and renewable energy operator B9 Energy Control Limited to develop a £12m sustainable fuel site in Craigmore, Northern Ireland, which is expected to be fully operational by 2026.
Renovare Fuels’ advanced renewable biofuels are a direct ‘drop in’ replacement for diesel and SAF with no requirement for engine modifications.
