The state said that this impact “study will not review any specific projects but instead lays the foundation for future project-level environmental reviews.”
“We are seeking public input to help us determine what to study in the programmatic environmental impact statement. Comments can be submitted online, at meetings or by mail from Oct. 6, 2025 to Nov. 5, 2025,” said the State on its website.
The department is seeking feedback and input on SAF production pathways, including types of feedstocks, to be evaluated, types of blending and distribution infrastructure to be evaluated, assumptions to identify the geographic scope of study used for the PEIS analysis, potential impacts to environmental resources to analyse and potential mitigation measures to consider.
