Squake to offer CO2 insets for NX Group customers

Integrated emission management platform Squake entered in a partnership with Nippon Express allowing its customers to access CO2 insetting solutions including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), sustainable marine fuel and hydrotreated vegetable oil to reduce emissions across all verticals.
“This collaboration with SQUAKE is an important milestone in our commitment to creating a more sustainable future. By integrating these CO2 insetting solutions, we are not only supporting our customers in reducing their emissions, but also reinforcing our own commitment to decarbonizing global transportation,” said Anne Troost, senior sustainability manager at Nippon Express.
The insetting solution will be available for air passengers but the company is planning to roll out these solutions not only for air transport but also for road and sea, ensuring a comprehensive approach to sustainability.
“By partnering and integrating our solutions with Nippon Express, we’re empowering businesses to make progress in their sustainability goals. Whether it’s leveraging SAF for air freight or SMF for maritime logistics, our technology ensures that more sustainable solutions are easily available and compliant with global regulations,” said Dan Kreibich, co-founder and CPO at Squake.
Earlier in March last year, Squake announced a partnership with business travel and meetings solutions provider CWT to help business travel industry access SAF. Under the partnership, Squake agreed to utilise its CO2 Solution Suite to empower CWT’s global client network to mitigate carbon emissions from business travel with SAF provided by Neste.
