Eni is blending 0.5% blend of its UCO feedstock to conventional crude oil for the 2% biocomponent composition. 

Eni has another facility operating in Livorno and is working on another refinery in Gela, Venice. ENI’s target is for total SAF production across  three facilities to be 500,000 tons/year by 2030. 

DHL express Italy has signed a deal for 28 test cargo flights fuelled on SAF from Milan Malpensa Airport.
