RSB certifies Future Energy Global as SAF trader
Dublin-based sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) ecosystem builder and production accelerator Future Energy Global announced that it has achieved Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials’ (RSB0 certification as an accredited SAF trader.
RSB certification ensures integrity and sustainability of biomaterials, including SAF. The certification demonstrates Future Energy Global’s adherence to rigorous environmental and social standards throughout its operations, said the company.
“We’re very proud to have achieved RSB certification,” said Natasha Mann, CEO and co-founder of Future Energy Global. “This step further demonstrates our commitment to our customers to offer products and services of the highest integrity as we work to build a SAF ecosystem. We’re seeing very strong interest from SAF producers, investors, and offtakers, and we look forward to further exciting announcements in the coming weeks and months.”
Dr Liam Cheung, Future Energy Global’s chief investment officer, added: “RSB certification is essential for ensuring that SAF production and distribution align with robust sustainability standards. By joining RSB as a ‘Chamber 2’ member, we are demonstrating our commitment to collaborating with industry leaders and driving innovation in the SAF sector.”
Future Energy Global, launched in January earlier this year, said that its SAF pre-purchasing ecosystem facilitates the flow of capital into SAF production, bringing together investors, suppliers, and buyers.
