Future Energy Global delivers SAF scope three credits to Jackson Square Aviation
Future Energy Global (FE Global), a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) ecosystem builder and production accelerator delivers SAF scope three credits to aircraft lessor Jackson Square Aviation (JSA). The credits were created and transferred through a book and claim system.
JSA will retire the credits to abate a proportion of the company’s business travel emissions.
“We are happy to be able to support Jackson Square Aviation in its sustainability activities, by supplying SAF Scope 3 emissions certificates,” said Natasha Mann, founder and CEO, Future Energy Global. “Building an ecosystem to scale SAF usage and reduce aviation emissions is core to our business, and JSA is a valued partner in that effort.”
The purchase of SAF scope three credits helps to spread the increased cost of SAF beyond just airlines.
“Aircraft lessors like JSA own about half of all commercial aircraft worldwide, so the sector has a major role to play in driving sustainability, and at JSA, we take our sustainability responsibilities as a lessor very seriously,” said Ryan Opeka, chief operating officer, JSA. “We’re committed to investing in a more sustainable future for global air transport and to supporting the global adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs), and we are very happy to support the aviation industry’s sustainability efforts with the assistance of Future Energy Global.”
