Splitwaters to develop multiple e-fuel facilities

Texas-based electrolyzer manufacturer Splitwaters announced plans to develop multiple e-SAF production sites in the United States using its state-of-the-art alkaline electrolyzers and Topsoe’s technology for the backend fuels and chemical production.

With Topsoe’s expertise as the licensor and Splitwaters’ innovative approach to manufacturing electrolyzers and providing tailored EPC services for green hydrogen and e-fuels facilities. Splitwaters will offer highly modularized solutions to produce ammonia, methanol and other electrofuels including SAF,” said Deepak Bawa, CEO, Splitwaters.

The company said it aims to streamline processes and potentially reduce capital expenditures by up to 30% by leveraging modular design principles and managing the projects.
